Step 2. Check for incorrect pressure setting for safety relief valves as follows:
a.
Cycle circuit(s) to be tested until oil is at operating temperature of 120F (49C).
Place backhoe in three-point stance.

Shut off engine.
Relieve hydraulic pressure by moving controls back and forth.
d.
e.
Disconnect hydraulic hose from port to be tested.
f.
Connect hand pump to port to be tested.
S t r o k e hand pump until sufficient pressure is built up in circuit to open
g.
safety relief valve.
h.
Continue to stroke hand pump until ail airhas been pumped out of lines.
