Cleaning compound, solvent (Item 4, WP 0249 00)
CLEANING MAGNETIC SCREEN
NOTE
Use a suitable container to capture any residual draining oil. Dispose of oil, IAW local policy and ordinances.
1.
Remove four nuts (1) and cover (2) from housing (3).
2.
Remove spring washer (4) from top of magnetic screen assembly (5).
3.
Remove O-ring (6) from housing (3) and discard.
4.
Remove magnetic screen assembly (5) from housing (3).
5.
Siphon transmission oil from magnetic screen housing (3). Wipe housing clean with rag.
