Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry or tools contact positive electrical
circuits, a direct short may result. Damage to equipment, injury or death to personnel may occur.
CONTINUITY TEST
(1) Set multimeter select switch to ohms.
(2) Disconnect sensor harness assembly
from low oil level sensor.
(3) Is there continuity between oil
level sensor terminals?
(a) If there is continuity, low oil
level sensor is OK. Go to
Step 2 of this Fault.
(b) If there is no continuity, replace
low oil level sensor (Para 7-5).
