Ground wire no. 1435 is only used
on DDEC II vehicles.

Remove locknut (45), ground wire no. 1435
(46), screw (47), and cushion clip (48) from
engine standoff bracket (49). Discard locknut.

Remove screw (50), lockwasher (51), and wire
no. 1866 (52) from circuit breaker (53). Discard
lockwasher.
NOTE
Location of plastic cable ties should
be marked before removal.

Remove plastic cable ties (33) holding engine
wire harness (34) at rear of engine.
NOTE
Step (17) applies only to DDEC II
vehicles.

Remove connector (54) from coolant level
module (55).
