Capacitor wires have three different
lengths. Wires should be routed
accordingly.

Install three wires (49) on regulator studs
(36) with tenz nuts (50).

Secure three wires (49) to slip ring end
housing

lockwasher (52), and clip (53).

Position spacer (54), key (55), cooling
plate (56), pulley (57), and new locknut
(58) on shaft (59). Do not tighten.
NOTE
Vise is used to securely hold pulley
for step (26).

Position alternator (60) in vise.

Tighten
locknut

to
70-80
lb-ft
(95-108 Nm).

Remove alternator (60) from vise.
