Coat threads of 10 screws (15) with
international compound no. 2.

Install eight cylinder head washers (16)
and screws (15). Do not tighten.
NOTE
Cylinder head screws are tightened
in step (12).

Remove two guide studs (14) and install
two remaining cylinder head washers (16)
and screws (15). Do not tighten.

Remove three nuts (1 7), washers (18),
and lifting fixture (19) from studs (20).

Tighten 10 cylinder head screws in order
shown to 100 lb-ft (136 Nm). In same
order, retighten to 100 lb-ft (136 Nm). In
same order, tighten an additional 1/4 turn.
