REMOVAL - CONTINUED
1.
Lift cap (12) and remove nut (10) and two cables (13) from negative battery cable (11).
2.
Lift cap (7) and remove nut (8) and two cables (9) from positive battery cable (6).

Lift cap (3) and remove nut (2), two wires (1), and two cables (14) from battery cable (4).
4.
Loosen eight nuts (5) and remove battery cables (4, 6, and 11) from batteries.
INSTALLATION
NOTE
Perform steps 3 through 5 to safely connect battery cables to batteries after performing vehicle electrical
maintenance.
1.
Install battery cables (4, 6, and 11) on batteries and tighten eight nuts (5).
2.
Install two cables (14) and wires (1) on battery cable (4) with nut (2). Install cap (3).
3.
Install two cables (9) on positive battery cable (6) with nut (8). Install cap (7).
4.
Install two cables (13) on negative battery cable (11) with nut (10). Install cap (12).
5.
Install battery box cover (WP 0144 00).
