Replace defective parts as needed. 2. All identification a.  Look to see if they can be read. and name plates b.  Look for cracks and breaks. REMOVAL CAUTION Do not remove identification plates unless inspection shows need for replacement.  Removal will damage parts. NOTE Identification and name plates are mounted two ways.  Some identification plates are mounted with drive screws,  some  with  blind  rivets.    One  identification  plate  mounted  with  drive  screws  is  shown.    Repeat steps  3  and  4  as  necessary  for  other  plates  mounted  with  drive  screws.    Number  of  drive  screws  may vary. 3.  Identification Two drive a.  Using 1/2-inch cold chisel and 1-pound plate (1) and front screws (3) head ball-peen hammer, cut off heads. support (2) TA243300 2-1183
