WARNING
Ensure battery cables are disconnected before replacing alternator. Failure to follow this warning could
result in personal injury or damage to equipment.
REMOVAL
NOTE
Tag wires to ensure correct installation.
1.
Remove two nuts (1 and 2) and disconnect wires (3) from alternator (4).
2.
Remove capscrew (5), washer (6) from alternator block (7) and alternator (4).
3.
Remove nut (8) and capscrew (9).
4.
Remove alternator (4) from bracket (10).
