MALFUNCTION
TEST OR INSPECTION
CORRECTIVE ACTION

Low or No Air Flow.

Check air conditioning
1. If obstruction is found,
filter for obstruction (WP

(WP 0229 02). If no
obstruction is found, go to test
step 2.
2.
Check blower motor circuit.
a. Place battery disconnect
switch in OFF position.
b. Check for blown blower
1. Replace blown fuse with a
motor fuse.

2. If fuse is not blown, reinstall
and go to step c.
c. Disconnect blower motor
wiring.
d. Set
to
appropriate voltage (V)
range (WP 0242 00).
e. Connect meter positive
lead to blower motor
orange wire. Connect
meter negative lead to
chassis ground.
f. Place battery disconnect
switch in ON position.
g. Turn on air conditioning
1. If voltage is indicated, check
fan. Observe meter.

circuit is OK, replace blower
motor (WP 0229 03).
2. If voltage is not indicated, go
to test step h.
h. Check 3-speed fan switch
1. If damage is found, repair
circuits for damage.
