 (2) Recheck the backlash and gear mesh of the
bevel gear set. This is best done by painting the
g e a r s with white lead and obtaining a gear pattern
as shown in figure 3-19.
(3) After the correct gear pattern is obtained,
move the bevel ring gear away from pinion to
