ADJUSTMENT
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during pro-
cedure. Ensure that any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of
heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death.
NOTE
Tilt cylinder weighs 418 lb (190 kg).

Use a nylon sling and a suitable lifting device to hold
tilt cylinder (4) during adjustment.

All shims must be removed before adjust-
ment is made. Refer to Removal above.
2.
Measure gap between two ball joints (12 and 14) with-
out shims (13).
3.
Remove four capscrews (10). Install shims (13) equal
in thickness to measured gap, plus add ONE shim.
Reinstall capscrews and new lockwashers (11).
4.
Check blade tilt cylinder for proper operation and
leaks.
