Engine OFF and cool (TM 5-2410-233-10)

WARNING

If NBC exposure is suspected, personnel wearing protective equipment should handle all air cleaner media.

Consult your NBC Officer or NBC NCO for appropriate handling or disposal procedures.

NBC contaminated filters must be handled using adequate precautions and must be disposed of by trained

personnel.

Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death.

REMOVAL

Loosen nut (1) and capscrew (2) securing precleaner (3) to filter body assembly (4).

Remove precleaner (3) from filter body assembly (4).

CLEANING

Remove all debris from precleaner (3).

Wipe precleaner (3) clean with a rag.
