a. Removal.

(1) Install the engine on a work stand. Re-

move the spark plugs to allow easy rotation of the

crankshaft.

(2) Remove the oil level dipstick.

(3) Remove the crankshaft damper attaching

bolt and lockwasher. Remove the crankshaft damper
