Check for +12 or +24
Volts at Ignition Wire
Turn ignition off.
Less than
Go to C 2--23.
Disconnect vehicle harness
11.5 volts.
connector at ECM.
Turn ignition on.
Read voltage between socket B3
on the vehicle harness connector
Greater than
Go to C 2--22.
(red lead) and a good ground
or equal to 11.5 volts.
(black lead).
C 2- 22

Check for Good
Ground Wire
Read voltage between socket B3
Less than
ECM ground wire (ckt #150)
on vehicle harness connector
11.5 volts.
is open or has a poor connection.
(red lead) and socket D and E
Repair open or poor connection.
on 5-way power harness.
Then go to C 2--30.
Greater than
Go to C 2--11.
or equal to 11.5 volts.

Check if Ignition
Circuit Breaker is
Okay
Turn ignition off.
Circuit breaker
Go to C 2--24.
Check DDEC ignition
is okay.
circuit breaker (CB13).
Circuit breaker open.
Go to C 2--25.
