Slide shift rod (9) on fork (10).
WARNING
Adhesive-sealant can burn easily,
can give off harmful vapors, and is
harmful to skin and clothing. To
avoid injury or death, keep away from
open fire and use in well-ventilated
area. If adhesive-sealant gets on skin
or clothing, wash Immediately with
soap and water.

Coat threads of two screws (11) with
adhesive-sealant (Item 6, Appendix B).
(10)
Install two screws (11) on fork (10).
Torque to 40 lb-ft (54 Nm).

Secure two screws (11) together with
lockwire (12).
(12)
Install two spacers (13) in bearing cap
(14).
(13)
Press bearing cup (15) and bearing cup
(16) in bearing cap (14). Seat against
spacers (13).
