NOTE

Ensure gap in retaining ring faces

you.

(8) Install clutch spring compressor (13) on spring

retainer (14).

WARNING

Wear eye protection and use care

when removing retaining rings.

Retaining rings are under spring

tension and can act as projectiles

when released causing severe eye

injury.

(9) Compress spring retainer (14) wth clutch spring

compressor (13). Remove retaining ring (15).

(10) Release pressure from spring retainer (14) and

remove clutch spring compressor (13).

(11) Remove spring retainer (14) from forward clutch

piston (16).

(12) Remove 20 piston return springs (17) from

forward clutch piston (16).

(13) Remove forward clutch assembly (4) from press.

(14) Remove collector ring installer (3) from forward

clutch assembly (4).
