TM 9-2320-360-34-1 3-28.  ENGINE TESTING (CONT) WARNING · Exhaust    manifolds    and    engine parts are hot.  Use care to prevent personal injury. ·   Use   caution   when   working   near hood mounting bracket that extends  beyond  firewall.    Failure to  comply  may  result  in  injury  to personnel. CAUTION Clean   around   rocker   cover   before removing   each   cover   from   engine. This    will    keep    dust    or    dirt    from entering cylinder heads. NOTE · Right and left side cylinder compression checks are performed in the same manner. · Both  rocker  covers  are  replaced in  a  similar  manner.    Right  cover is shown. · Do   steps   (1)   thru   (10)   for   right rocker cover only. (3) Remove   two   nuts   (1),   lockwashers   (2), screws    (3),    and    lower    band    (4)    from steering reservoir (5). Discard lockwashers. WARNING Support     steering     reservoir     before loosening   band.      Failure   to   comply may result in injury to personnel. (4) Loosen two nuts (6). (5) Raise steering reservoir (5) about 5 in. (13 cm) and support. (6) Tighten two nuts (6). 3-140  Change 3
