5-37. LOAD HANDLING SYSTEM (LHS) HOOK ARM CYLINDER REPLACEMENT

WARNING
Adhesives, solvents, and sealing
compounds can burn easily, can give off
harmful vapors, and are harmful to skin
and clothing. To avoid injury or death,
keep away from open fire and use in a
well-ventilated area. If adhesive, solvent or
sealing compound gets on skin or clothing,
wash immediately with soap and water.
(26) Coat threads of two rubber
bumpers (10) with sealing compound.
(27) Install two rubber bumpers (10) on
compression frame (12) with
locknut (11).
c. Follow-on Maintenance.
(1) Install hook arm manifold (Para 5-36).
(2) Check hydraulic reservoir oil level
(TM 9-2320-279-10).
(3) Remove wheel chocks
(TM 9-2320-279-10).
