AIR CONDITIONER CONDENSER REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REMOVAL - CONTINUED
1.
Tag and disconnect refrigerant lines (1) from condenser (2). Install plugs in refrigerant and condenser lines.
2.
Remove fasteners attaching condenser (2) to radiator.

INSTALLATION
1.
Position condenser (2) on radiator and install fasteners.
2.
Remove plugs from refrigerant lines (1) and line ports on new condenser (2).
3.
Install new preformed packings and apply refrigerant oil to preformed packings.
4.
Apply loctite to male fitting threads and connect but do not tighten refrigerant lines (1) to condenser (2).
NOTE
DO NOT connect refrigerant fittings using only one wrench. Hold one fitting in place using a wrench and
turn other fitting with a second wrench.
5.
Tighten connections in accordance with WP 0311 00.
6.
Service air conditioner compressor (WP 0301 00).
7.
Charge air conditioning system (WP 0297 00).
