Disconnect transmission ECU wiring harness connector (12) from transmission bus connector (13) at J1939 bus installa-
tion.

If transmission bus connector (13) is damaged, disconnect connector (14) from bus connector and remove bus connec-
tor.

For access to branch of transmission ECU wiring harness that is routed to shift tower, remove cab floor mats and insula-
tion pads (WP 0263 00).

At shift tower, disconnect transmission ECU wiring harness connector from shift selector connector (WP 0152 00 or WP

Remove three screws (15) and access cover (16) at passenger side of cab floor.
