OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Section I. DESCRIPTION AND USE OF OPERATOR'S

CONTROLS AND INDICATORS

This section shows the location and describes the function and use of controls and indica-

tors you will use in operating the M915 thru M920 vehicles. These instructions apply to

all models unless specific models are identified. Separate illustrations and keys are pro-

vided for the following groups of controls and indicators:

Instrument panel

Cab floor-mounted foot controls

PTO/pusher axle controls and transmission ratio selector control

Steering wheel and column-mounted controls

Operator's seat adjustment controls

Additional cab controls

Winch controls (M916 and M920 only)

YOU SHOULD KNOW THE LOCATION AND UNDERSTAND THE PROPER USE OF

EVERY CONTROL AND INDICATOR BEFORE OPERATING YOUR TRUCK. USE

THIS SECTION TO LEARN OR TO REFRESH YOUR MEMORY ABOUT EACH OF

THE CONTROLS AND INDICATORS YOU WILL BE USING WHILE OPERATING THE

TRUCK.

Figure 2-1 shows the entire instrument panel and identifies the major sections by name.

A separate figure and key is provided for each individual panel section. (See Figures 2-2

thru 2-5).
