a. Remove two screws (1) and red lens (2) from body

assembly (5). Remove lamp (3).

b. Remove clip (4) and remove white lens (6) and

gasket (7) from body assembly (5).

3-79. REPAIR. Replace all cracked or broken lenses.

Replace broken or burned out lamp. Inspect gasket for

deterioration and replace if necessary. Inspect all screw

threads before installation.

3-80. REPLACEMENT. Replace taillight and stoplight

components as follows:

a. Install gasket (7) and white lens (6) in body

assembly (5) and secure with clip (4).

When replacing lamp always use a 12-volt

lamp.

b. Install lamp (3). Install red lens (2) and secure with

two screws (l).
