WARNING
W h e n discharging nitrogen from
a c c u m u l a t o r , stand to one side
a n d keep face away from front
of charging valve to prevent
personal injury.
LOOSEN charging VALVE (11) 1-1/2 turns,

R E M O V E valve CAP (12), and DRAIN
ACCUMULATOR assembly (13) to 20 psi
(1.4 bar).
7.
REMOVE four side rod NUTS (14).
REMOVE FOOT assembly (15) by TAPPING
8.
with RUBBER or PLASTIC hammer.
REMOVE lock nut (16), washer (17), bushing
9.
(18), bolt (19), latch (20), detent PLUNGER
(21), spring (22), bushing (23), and washer
(24). DISCARD lock NUT.
10.
REMOVE and DISCARD PACKING (25), cup
SEAL (26), and WIPER (27).
NOTE
Hexagon bushing is tapered
toward flange end of foot
assembly.
11. USING 50-ton PRESS, REMOVE hexagon
BUSHING (28).
