CRANE VALVE BANK REPAIR (CONT)
Outlet Manifold Disassembly
REMOVE and DISCARD two PLUG (1 and 2).
Outlet Manifold Assembly
INSTALL two new PLUGS (1 and 2).
Valve Section Disassembly
NOTE
Procedure is the same for all eight
valve sections.
1.
REMOVE plug (1), packing (2), spring (3),
and PISTON (4). DISCARD PACKING.
2.
REMOVE two screws (5), two lock washers
( 6 ) , and RETAINER (7). DISCARD lock
WASHERS.
REMOVE SPACER (8) from retainer (7).

REMOVE SPOOL (9) from body (10).
REMOVE and DISCARD two O-RINGS (11).

6.
C O M P R E S S SPRING (12) and REMOVE
SCREW (13).
7.
CAREFULLY RELEASE SPRING (12) and
REMOVE holder (14), SPRING (12), and
holder (15).
REMOVE STEM (16).
