BACKHOE STABILIZER CYLINDER REPAIR (CONT)
7.
REMOVE GLAND (3) from linear piston (4).
8 . REMOVE and DISCARD three PACKINGS
(11, 12, and 13), SEAL (14), WIPER (15),
and BEARING (16) from gland (3).
9.
U S I N G suitable PRESS, REMOVE two
BUSHINGS (17) from tube (2).
10. IF DAMAGED, REMOVE lubrication FITTING
(18).
1.
Inspect piston, linear piston, and tube for
scratches or scoring.
2.
Inspect threads on linear piston, screw, tube,
and gland for wear or damage.
