Safety Relief Valve
CAUTION
Caps or plugs must be installed in any ports not being tested to prevent
hydraulic oil leakage.
1.
Connect hand pump in port to be tested.
2.
Stroke hand pump until sufficient pressure is built up in circuit to open safety relief valve.
3.
Continue to stroke hand pump until all air has been pumped out of lines.
4.
Record highest pressure and compare with acceptable ranges shown below:
