BACKHOE CONTROL VALVE, BOOM SECTION VALVE REPAIR (CONT)

lNSTALL new packing (6) and new SEAL (7).
TAP SEAL with soft-faced hammer until it is
even with the top.
4.
INSTALL POPPET (8) and spring (9).
5.
INSTALL new PACKING (10).
INSERT FABRICATED TOOL into both slots
6.
on load check plug (11) and INSTALL load
check PLUG (11) in valve body (12).
7.
TURN valve BODY (12) over and REPEAT
STEPS 4 thru 6 for other load check plug
hole.
