BACKHOE CONTROL VALVE, SWING SECTION VALVE REPAIR (CONT)
15. lNSTALL three new packings (28, 29, and 30)
and safety relief VALVE (31) and TIGHTEN to
65-85 lb-ft (85-115 N.m).
16. REPEAT STEP 15 for opposite safety relief
valve (32).
17.
INSTALL SPRING (33) In valve disc (34) by
turning spring (33).
18.
INSTALL spring (33) and valve DISC (34) in
valve body (12).
19.
INSTALL new packing (35) and PLUG (36).
20.
REPEAT STEPS 17 thru 19 for plug (37).
21.
PERFORM safety relief VALVE TESTING and
ADJUSTMENT (page 20-69).
