FLUID REGULATING VALVE (P/N 0 481 039 202) REPAIR (CONT)

Cover is under spring pressure.

W e a r safety goggles. Pressure

must be relieved slowly. Failure

t o do so could cause cover to

fly off resulting in injury to

personnel.

OPEN VISE SLOWLY and REMOVE

regulating valve HOUSING (3) and cover (4)

from vise.

REMOVE spring seat (5), spring (6), and

DIAPHRAGM assembly (7) from regulating

valve housing (3).

REMOVE nut (8), plate washer (9),

DIAPHRAGM (10), plate washer (11), spring

(12), and cup seal (13) from screw (14).

DISCARD DIAPHRAGM and cup SEAL.
