USING feeler GAGE and STRAIGHTEDGE,

CHECK CLEARANCE between gears (1 and
5) and housing (3). Clearance should be
0.0010-0.0035 in. (0.025-0.089 mm).
USING feeler GAGE, CHECK radial
8.
CLEARANCE between gears (1 and 5) and
sides of housing (3). Radial clearance should
be 0.001-0.005 in. (0.030-0.130 mm).
