OIL PAN REPLACEMENT (CONT)
CAUTION
M a k e sure all gasket material has been removed from all mating surfaces to
p r e v e n t damage to equipment.
4.
INSTALL two new GASKETS (18 and 20). APPLY ADHESIVE to ENDS of gaskets.
NOTE
Make sure ends of two gaskets (18 and 20) are coated with adhesive and in contact
with two gaskets (19 and 21).
INSTALL two new GASKETS (19 and 21).

INSTALL oil PAN (17), 4 nuts (12), 2 screws (13), 2 washers (16), 2 long screws (15), and 16 screws
(14).
INSTALL BRACKET (17) and bolt (10).
7.
INSTALL new packing (9), guide TUBE (8), clamp (7), bolt (5), washer (6), and nut (4).
8.
INSTALL spacer (3), cap (2), and gage ROD (1).

NOTE
Follow-on Maintenance:
Install engine (page 3-2).
Install accelerator pedal and linkage (engine linkage only) (TM 5-2420-224-20)
