ENGINE OIL FILTER REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR
CAUTION
Make sure all gasket material
h a s been removed from mating
s u r f a c e s to prevent damage to
equipment.
INSTALL new gasket (1), screw (2), two bolts
1.
( 3 and 4), and COVER (5). TIGHTEN
SCREW and BOLTS to 44 Ib-ft (60 N.m).
INSTALL BOLT (6) and two new packings (7).

NOTE
Follow-on Maintenance:
Install engine oil filter element (TM 5-
2420-224-20).
Install engine mount (page 3-18).
