BRAKE INDICATOR LIGHT LIGHTS.

Step 1.

Check for low brake fluid level in brake fluid reservoir.

If brake fluid level is low, add silicone brake fluid

(TM 5-2420-224-10).

If brake fluid level is not low, go to step 2.

NOTE

Step 2 is for rear axle only.

Step 2.

Check parking brake adjustment by pulling parking brake handle (1) and

measuring distance from parking brake handle to stop (2). Distance should

be 7-9 in. (180-220 mm).

If parking brake is not properly adjusted, adjust parking brake

(page 4-254).

If parking brake is properly adjusted, go to step 3.
