NOTE
Ensure that sealing surfaces are clean before applying thread sealing compound to
capscrews.
8.
Apply 2-3 drops of thread sealing compound to threads of four capscrews (3).
9.
Install four capscrews (3) in drive shaft (6). Torque capscrews to 32-38 Ib.-ft. (43-52 N•m).
FOLLOW-ON TASKS:
•
Install radiator (see TM 5-2420-222-20).
•
Install air cleaner (see TM 5-2420-222-20).
•
Install hood (see TM 5-2420-222-20).
