DIFFERENTIAL DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY MAINTENANCE (Con’t).
a. REMOVAL
1.
Wedge a clean rag between gear teeth and remove special nut (1) and washer (2) from drive shaft (20). Remove
rag from gears.
2.
Remove differential assembly (see paragraph 8-7).
3.
Remove bearing cone (3) from drive shaft (20).
