Check fluid level and add proper amount
and grade (TM 5-2420-22-10).

Engine
Start and run at high idle
(TM 5-2420-222-10).

Loader control
a.
Operate loader bucket
(TM 5-2420-22-10) and check for
leaks.
b.
If leaking at any connection, tighten
using 7/8-inch and two 1-inch open-
end wrenches.
c.
If leaking does not stop, shut down
engine (TM 5-2420-222-10) and
replace leaking connection packing,
fitting, hose, or oil line as outlined
in this task.
d.
If found leaking, repeat 37 thru 39.
