Take off.
CAUTION
Connector links and upper nuts are right-hand thread. Boom and bucket control
rods and lower nuts are left-hand thread. Turn buckles are right-hand thread on
one end and left-hand thread on the other end. Turning parts in the wrong
direction or mixing up parts will cause damage to threads.

Using two 3/4-inch open-end
and turnbuckle (3)
wrenches, loosen.
b.
Take connector link (1) out of
machinist’s vise.

Place turnbuckle (3) in machinist’s
with assembled
vise.

Note number of exposed threads and
relative position for proper placement
during assembly.
c.
Unscrew and take out.
