a.
Look for cracked, burned, and worn
cable (1)
insulation.
b.
Look for broken wires.
c.
Look for loose, corroded, stretched
or cracked terminal clamp (2) and
terminal (3).
Clamp ends should not be able to
touch when tightened onto negative
battery terminal.
12.
All other metal
Look for cracks, breaks, abnormal bends,
parts
and corrosion damage.
13.
All threaded parts
Look for damaged threads.
ASSEMBLY
14.
Terminal clamp (2)
Screw (4) and
Screw in but do not tighten.
