a. Check for leaks.

b. If leaking at any connection, tighten
using slip-joint pliers, 0 to 1.322-
inch adjustable wrench, or 5/8-inch
open-end wrench.
c. If leaking does not stop, shut down
engine TM 5-2420-222-10) and
replace defective fuel filter or com-
ponent as outlined in this task.
