b. Using 1 1/16-inch, 112-inch drive
socket and 0 to 150 foot-pound capacity
torque wrench, tighten to 20 to 25 foot-
pounds (27 to 34 N.m) torque.

a. Check for oil and coolant leaks.

b. If coolant is found leaking at any con-
nection tighten clamps (7) using
1/4-inch flat-tip screwdriver.
c.  If coolant leak does not stop or if oil
leak is found, shut down engine
(TM 5-2420-222-10) and replace
defective packing or component as out-
lined in this task.
