a. Removal
(1) Use a wrench to remove nut (l),
nut (2), two washers (3) and
heat shield (4) from exhaust
manifold (5).
(2) Remove spacer (6) and washer
(7). Note their location for
proper placement during
installation.
(3) Remove spacer (8) and washer
(9). Note their location for
proper placement during
installation.
(4) Use a wrench to loosen ten nuts
(10) and ten washers (9) that
hold exhaust manifold (5) to
cylinder head (11).
(5) Remove exhaust manifold (5).
(6) Remove and discard six gaskets
(11).
