(2) Install the remainder of the

bearings with the bearing oil

hole in alignment with the oil

hole in the cylinder block.

Install bearings to the

dimensions given from the front

face of the block: B) 6.06

0.02 in., C) 11.94+0.02 in.,D)

23.690.02 in., E)35.60+0.02

in.

(3) put the gear (2) for the camshaft

(6) in position on the end of the

camshaft. Use a wrench to

install the capscrews (7) that

hold it.

(4) Put clean engine oil on the

bearing journals of the camshaft

(6). put grease on the lobes of

the cam.

CAUTION

Install camshaft with care to

avoid damaging bearing.

(5) Install camshaft (6) in the

cylinder block with the timing

marks on the camshaft gear (2),

idler gear (11) and the crankshaft

gear (1) in alignment.
