WARNING
Turn battery disconnect switch to OFF position before working on any electrical system component. Fail-
ure to follow this warning could result in injury or damage to equipment.
REMOVAL
1.
Remove clip (1) from STE-ICE connection. Disconnect connector of tachometer (2) from STE-ICE connector. Remove
tachometer.
2.
Remove tachometer adapter (3). If required, remove protective cap (4) from tachometer adapter.
3.
Remove two bolts (5), lockwashers (6) and clamps (7) that hold adapter assembly (8) to governor. Slide adapter assem-
bly off sleeve (9) and remove O-ring (10) from adapter assembly. Discard lockwashers and O-ring.
4.
Slide sleeve (9) off cable from governor.
