WARNING
DO NOT perform fuel system checks, inspections or maintenance while smoking or near fire, flames or
sparks. Fuel may ignite, causing damage to machine and injury or death to personnel.

Alternator and wiring must be moved
out of the way to remove fuel lines on
13
front part of engine.
Tag all wires to ensure correct instal-
lation.
1.
Disconnect wires (1 and 2) from back of alternator (3)
and move wires away from fuel lines.
2.
Disconnect wires (4 and 5) from back of alternator (3)

and move wires away from fuel lines.
3.
Loosen capscrew (6) in pivot arm of alternator (3).
4.
Loosen top and bottom nuts (7) on belt tightening rod
(8) to take tension off V-belts (9).

Remove capscrew (10), washer (11) and block (12)
with rod (8) and two nuts (7) from alternator (3).
6.
Remove V-belts (9) from pulley (13) and swing alter-
nator (3) away from fuel lines.
