(4) Large pump section.

(a) Remove bolts (1, fig. 4-21) and cover

(2).

(a) Hold cartridge (3) and, using a plastic

hammer, tap on the end of the shaft to force the

body and shaft from the cartridge.

CAUTION

Vanes (11, fig. 4-22) and insert vanes

(10) are free to slide out of the rotor and

ring, and may be damaged if dropped.

(c) Refer to figure 4-22 and disassemble the

cartridge.
