a. Removal
(1) Use a wrench to remove twelve
nuts (1) and use a flat blade
screwdriver to remove twelve
adjustment screws (2) which
secured rocker arms (3 and 4)
on rocker shaft (5) to push
rods (6).
(2) Use a wrench to remove six
capscrews (7) and six washers (8)
which secured six brackets (9,
10, and 11) on rocker shaft
assembly (5) to cylinder head
assembly.
(3) Remove rocker shaft (5) from
cylinder head assembly.
(4) Remove twelve push rods (6) from
cylinder head and block
assemblies.
