VISUAL INSPECTION
(1) Remove LHS main manifold
(Para 16-43).
(2) Remove plug, preformed packing and
orifice from main manifold.
Discard preformed packing.
(3) Inspect orifice for contaminants or
clogging.
(a) If orifice is plugged or damaged,
clean or replace orifice and
perform Steps (4) through (7)
below.
(b) If orifice is OK, fault not corrected.
Perform Steps (4) through (7)
below and notify supervisor.
(4) Install orifice in main manifold.
(5) Lubricate preformed packing.
(6) Install preformed packing on plug and
install plug in main manifold. Tighten
to 96 lb-in (11 N.m).
(7) Install LHS main manifold.
