AIR TUBE REPLACEMENT (CONT)
REMOVAL
NOTE
P r o c e d u r e is the same for all air tubes.
F o r location of air tubes, refer to Air Tube Locator Table.
T a g all air tubes and fittings prior to removal to aid in installation.
R e m o v e plastic cable ties as necessary to remove air tubes.
W h e n replacing air tube, remove tube from vehicle and cut new tube 1/4-1/2
i n . longer than air tube being replaced.
1.
REMOVE NUT (1) FROM FllTING (2).
2.
REMOVE AIR TUBE (3) FROM FllTING (2).
NOTE
If insert remains in fitting, do not remove.
REMOVE INSERT (4), FERRULE (5), AND NUT (1) FROM AIR TUBE (3).
3.
CLEANING/INSPECTlON
Clean and inspect all parts in accordance with Chapter 2.
