WARNING
H o t oil can cause serious burns. Make sure transmission oil is cool before
w o r k i n g o n t r a n s m i s s i o n . F a i l u r e to do so could result in serious injury to
personnel.
REMOVE LOCK NUT (1) AND LEVER (2). DISCARD LOCK NUT.
1.
LOCK
REMOVE TWO SCREWS (3), TWO LOCK WASHERS (4), AND BRACKET (5). DISCARD
2.
WASHERS.
WARNING
Spilled transmission fluid is very slippery. Wipe up any spilled fluid
i m m e d i a t e l y . Failure to do so could result in serious injury to personnel.
NOTE
Support oil pan while r e m o v i n g screws.
REMOVE REMAINING 21 SCREWS (6) HOLDING OIL PAN (7) TO TRANSMISSION (8).
